BELLEFONTAINE — The Benjamin Logan varsity volleyball team swept a home tri-match on Saturday, beating Triad 25-13, 25-10 before defeating North Union 25-13, 25-12. The Raiders improve their record to 2-1.

The Kenton girls soccer team controlled the play on the field against Upper Sandusky on Saturday, but the Wildcats could not pick up their third win in three games as the Rams Alivia Oney scored with 8:31 remaining to tie score as the teams played to a 2-2 deadlock.

MOUNT VICTORY — Ridgemont swept Perry and Toledo Waite in a home volleyball tri-match on Saturday. The Gophers topped the Commodores 27-25, 25-22 in the first match.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Reygan Frey had two goals and Brandi Borkosky, Haley Frey and Gabi Rodriguez added one tally each as Riverdale pulled away for a 5-1 victory over Continental in a girls soccer matchup on Saturday. The Falcons improve to 2-1 on the season.

PANORA — The Hardin Northern volleyball team cruised past Pandora-Gilboa in three sets 25-8, 25-18, 25-16 on Saturday. Shelby Alloway and Rylie Bame had 8 kills each to lead the Hardin Northern attack.

ATTICA — Upper Scioto Valley’s Brady Hipsher got his cross country season off to a good start on Saturday. The Ram junior broke the USV school record with a time of 17:24.57 at the Seneca East Tiger Classic.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale took control with three second half goals on the way to a 4-1 win over Miller City in a non-league boys soccer matchup on Saturday night. Logan Frey had two goals for the Falcons, while Colby Miller added a goal and an assist and Matthew Mason added a goal.

CELINA — The Kenton girls cross country team took third place out of seven teams with a score of 78, and the Kenton boys placed eighth out of 10 teams with a score of 203 at the Celina Rotary Invitational on Saturday. Leading the way for the Kenton girls was freshman Sammie Unger who finished third of 61 runners with a time of 21:17.74 and an average mile of 6:51.3.

NORTH ROBINSON — Riverdale was sixth of 10 cross country teams at the Colonel Crawford Invitational with 191 points on Saturday. Juleigha Collier led the Falcons, finishing sixth of 113 runners in a time of 21:03.16.
