BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan opened up an 11-point lead after the first quarter and held on for 55-49 victory over Graham in Central Buckeye Conference boys basketball on Friday night. The Raiders led 19-8 after the first quarter, 29-24 at halftime and 40-34 after three quarters.

MOUNT VICTORY — Hardin Northern turned a tie game into a double-digit lead with a 10-point run midway through the second quarter Thursday during a 41-35 Northwest Central Conference girls basketball victory over Ridgemont.

WAPAKONETA — Kenton seemed to be in trouble Thursday night heading into the fourth quarter. The Wildcats trailed Wapakoneta by 11 points, but Kenton coach Ryan Miller had one more trick up his sleeve.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Sydney Holderman scored 26 points and Janessa Taylor added 17 as Riverdale rolled to a 70-37 victory against Hopewell-Loudon in a Blanchard Valley Conference girls basketball game Thursday night.

MILLER CITY — Noah Hough scored 19 points for Riverdale in a 54-43 loss at Miller City in a non-league boys basketball game Thursday. The Falcons fell behind 14-6 after the first quarter, and Miller City stayed in control the rest of the way. The score was 26-19 at halftime and 40-31 at the end of the third quarter.

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan defeated Bellefontaine and Riverside in boys bowling on Wednesday. The Raiders won with a score of 2,545. Bellefontaine scored 2,294 and Riverside had 1,941.

OTTAWA — The Kenton girls bowling team picked up its second victory of the year Tuesday night, defeating Ottawa-Glandorf by six pins, 1,800-1,794. The Titans led 1,266-1,246 after the individual rounds, but Kenton rallied in the baker round. The Wildcats won 554-528 to pull off the come-from behind win.

MOUNT VICTORY — When Ridgemont played good defense without fouling Tuesday night, Fairlawn didn’t have an answer in a nonconference girls basketball game. The Gophers (6-2) did that enough to earn a 43-37 win, but Ridgemont coach Tim Weyant wasn’t pleased with some of the lapses his team showed.

PANDORA — Upper Scioto Valley moved to 7-0 Tuesday night with a 65-31 victory over Pandora-Gilboa in nonconference girls basketball. The Rams led 22-10 after the first quarter, 39-15 at halftime and 58-20 after three quarters.

WAYNESFIELD — Ben Logan scored 35 points in the first quarter and blew past Waynesfield-Goshen 71-46 on Tuesday in nonconference girls basketball.
