ADA — Delphos St. Johns took over with a four-run fifth inning on the way to a 7-3 sectional softball win over Ada at War Memorial Park on Tuesday. Connor Frazier had a double and Jaylin Burkhart added an RBI single to lead the Bulldogs at the plate. Brandon Hull and Landon Blankenship both added hits for the Bulldogs.

CASSTOWN — Grace Deardurff fired a one-hitter, striking out 14 Versailles batters, to lead the way for Ben Logan in a 7-0 Division III district semifinal softball victory on Tuesday at Miami East. The game was scheduled to be played on Monday night at Brookville High School, but was moved to Tuesday due to wet field conditions.

WAPAKONETA — Minster plated seven runs in the first inning and cruised from there on the way to a 15-3 district semifinal softball win over Ridgemont on Tuesday afternoon at Wapakoneta High School. The Gophers, who finish their season at 13-9, received an RBI double from Brooke Nelson. Callie Cromer and Emma Smith added singles.

ROCKFORD — Two Parkway pitchers combined to toss a no-hitter and the Panthers took control with four runs in the bottom of the first inning in a 12-0 five-inning win over Upper Scioto Valley in sectional baseball action on Tuesday.

The 2019 Wildcat Walk and Run 4 Miler will be Saturday, May 18 at Robinson Field in Kenton. The race starts at 9 a.m. and will feature a kids fun run, a four mile course, and a 2-person relay.

The 15th annual Hardin County Golf Foundation Memorial Tournament honoring Jim Black, Ox Carson and George Davidson will be held at Memorial Park Golf Club in Kenton on Saturday, May 25 with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Skill prizes, 50/50, skins and a $1,000 payout will be available to those entering this four-person scramble event.

WAYNESFIELD – The Hardin Northern boys track team was second of nine teams at the Northwest Central Conference track and field meet on Saturday. The Polar Bears, who finished with 103 points, were runner-up in the team standings to Perry, which finished with 125 points. USV ended up sixth with 48 points and Ridgemont was ninth with 6 points.

ST. MARYS - The Kenton boys and girls track teams finished ninth at the Western Buckeye League meet on Friday. The Lady Wildcats finished with 32 points. Shawnee won the meet with 93 points.

HARROD - The Ada girls were seventh and the Bulldog boys were eighth of nine teams at the Northwest Conference track and field meet at Allen East High School on Saturday, The Lady Bulldogs finished with 39.5 points. Columbus Grove won the meet with 211 points.

FINDLAY – The Riverdale girls track team was sixth of 12 teams with 54.5 points at the Blanchard Valley Conference track meet on Friday night at Liberty-Benton High School. Tayler Ashburn had a pair of top four finishes to lead the Lady Falcons, placing third in the high jump (4-8) and fourth in the long jump (15-9).
