Kenton native Lisa Scott-Reiss with her mare She Invests in Signs (also known as Velvet) won the circuit championship for Level 1 Amateur Walk Trot Horsemanship this past weekend at the Buckeye Classic, a Top 5 American Quarter Horse Association Show held in Wilmington.

ONU adding Esports in 2019

ADA — Ohio Northern University's long history of athletic prowess is about to enter a whole new era. Esports is the newest, fastest-growing trend to hit collegiate athletics, and ONU has announced that it will launch an official varsity esports team in fall semester 2019.

KHS mini cheer camp to begin July 30

The 2018 Kenton High School mini cheer camp for students entering grades K-8 will be 6-8 p.m. July 30 through Aug. 2 on the high school lawn.
