Friday An officer responded to the Mid-Ohio Energy Cooperative. It was reported that they were the victim of a theft of $157.87. An investigation will continue. Officers were requested to Lifeworks to assist in an arrest.

For several weeks, a vehicle was reportedly left abandoned on private property at 919 E. Columbus St. The tires were chalked and the vehicle did not move for 48 hours. The vehicle was impounded and towed.

An individual reported discovering a fraudulent charge on their debit card statement. The charge was for $57.77 and was made from Chewy.com.

An officer was dispatched to a report of an illegally parked vehicle in the 700 block of E. Franklin Street. The Kenton City Schools resource officer reported a truant student from Kenton High School. A report was received of a garage broken into at 512 King St. sometime within the last two weeks.

The school resource officer for Kenton City Schools reported a truant student from Kenton Middle School. Phone harassment was reported in the 600 block of W. North Street.

Friday Senyca K. Mendenhall, 418 N. Barron St., was issued summonses for drug abuse and drug paraphernalia. He was then arrested by his probation officer and taken to the multi-county jail. Melissa S. Richardson, 9436 TR 197, was arrested on a warrant out of the KPD. Non-injury crashes were reported in front of Dairy Queen on W. Lima Street and at Oriental Avenue and E. Carrol Street.

A theft from a vehicle was reported at 415 Gilmore St. Philip Pinks, Dunkirk, was cited for speeding.

Kenton police Officers were dispatched to 398 E. Forest Road Apt. 16 in reference to a runaway female juvenile.

The Village Pantry store manager called to report the theft of $627.93 in numerous lottery tickets. Officers were dispatched to a report of a domestic situation where a door was kicked in. Upon investigation, the suspect, Vinson Charles Eugene Hastings, 655 East St. No. 10, was arrested for domestic violence and was transported to the KPD.

Hardin sheriff Theft was reported at 21419 CR 144, Kenton. An unwanted person was reported at 18089 Ohio 117, Roundhead.
