Services for Lowell Edwin “Jack” Madison will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Eagles Lodge in Kenton by Tom Flowers, an elder of the congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. A dinner will follow. He died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 in Watseka, Ill.

Jean M. Wood

A service for Jean M. Wood will be held at the convenience of family. She died on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015 at Soldiers and Sailors Hospital, Penn Yan, N.Y.

Police Reports: December 3, 2015

Carmen L. Cronley, 214 Gilbert St., reported a theft. She stated that she walked outside and found her driver’s side window busted out. She found that an unknown person had entered her vehicle and removed a flashlight. She also found that miscellaneous change was missing.

Forest CIC plans Charlie Brown Christmas activities

FOREST — Forest Area CIC is sponsoring a Charlie Brown Christmas Celebration and Small Business Sunday in downtown Forest. The event will kick off at 11 a.m. with the Forest-Jackson Library’s annual soup and salad meal. Patrons are invited to stop in for lunch and support the library.
