CAREY — Riverdale didn’t have the regular-season finale it was hoping for Saturday against Carey. The Blue Devils’ Shelby and Sydney Kin combined to score 42 points and grab 20 rebounds in leading Carey to an 84-51 win over Riverdale.

NORTH BALTIMORE — Upper Scioto Valley scored 20 points in the fourth quarter to grab a nonconference boys basketball victory over North Baltimore on Saturday. USV and North Baltimore were tied at 50 after the third quarter, but the Rams outpaced their opponents over the final quarter for a 70-62 win.

NEW CARLISLE — Ben Logan started well Saturday and cruised to a 66-51 victory over Eaton in its girls basketball postseason opener. The Raiders (20-3) led 20-12 after the first quarter and 37-20 at halftime.

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan couldn’t find much offense Saturday, losing to Bellefontaine 58-35 in boys basketball action. The Raiders were held to five points in both the first and third quarters.

James F. and Connie J. Graham of Lima, formerly of Kenton, are celebrating their 60th anniversary with a family dinner. The couple were married Feb. 19, 1956 in St. John’s E & R Church by Rev. Stanley Fritz.

The KHS Choral Boosters met on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 6 p.m. at Kenton High School. In attendance were Heather Hoppe, co-president; Steffanie Humphries, treasurer; Katrina Collins, co-secretary; parents Kristin Hamilton and Susan Bailey and director Todd Daquino.

Services for Marilyn Jean Warner Iler will be at noon Saturday at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mount Victory. Burial will follow in Otterbein Cemetery.

Services for Vivian Jacqueline Schrader will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the New Richland Baptist Church by Pastor Steve Smith. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center.
