ADA -- The Oscar J. and Judith D. Mifsud Collaborative Learning Center on the first floor of the Heterick Memorial Library at Ohio Northern University was formally dedicated during a ceremony held Oct. 14. Recent renovations to the first floor of Heterick library have created an open, comfortable, well-lit, media-rich, collaborative-learning space.

ADA -- Paul Nutter, associate professor of manufacturing technology and chair of the Department of Technological Studies at Ohio Northern University, received a Distinguished Service Award from the IEOM (Industrial Engineering and Operations Management) Society during its IEOM Detroit Conference in Southfield, Mich., in September.

Kenton-Hardin County Soroptimist International, SI Hancock County, and SI Lima are planning their annual Celebration of Women dinner. It will be held at the ONU McIntosh Ballroom on March 30, 2017 at 6 p.m.

A Los Angeles publicist will be the keynote speaker for the Nov. 18 banquet luncheon of the Women L.E.A.D. organization, a program of the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance. It is set for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Inn at Ohio Northern University.
