Hardin Northern academic awards On Sept. 13 the Hardin Northern student body and many guests gathered in the varsity gym to recognize students that did an outstanding job in the classroom during the 2018-29 school year. ‘Messiah’ rehearsals to begin at Bluffton University BLUFFTON —Rehearsals for Bluffton University’s 124th performance of Handel’s “Messiah” will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays each week from Sept. 24-Dec. 3 in the Gilliom Room of Mosiman Hall on campus. Knitters share county fair projects Knitters shared their Hardin County Fair projects and ribbons each won at the Sept. 10 meeting of the Ohio Knit Wits. Culture Club meets at Carol McKinley’s home The Culture Club traveled to Indian Lake on Wednesday, Sept. 11. Members and a guest gathered at Carol McKinley’s home on Indian Lake at Russells Point. A guided tour was given of her beautiful landscaped garden surrounding her home. Then Carol gave an informative presentation on Monarch butterflies and their migration to and from Mexico. Read More
