Tyrell L. Spath, 107 1/2 E. Lima St., Forest – speeding 49 mph in a 35 mph zone, amended to speeding 40 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $15. Fined $25 for speeding 50 mph in a 35 mph zone were: Isaac J. Orians, Upper Sandusky; Chelsea Darlene Drew, 614 Chestnut St. Apt. C5, Forest; and April Kindle, 1915 Ohio 235, Ada.

Hardin County Recorder Brenda Rainsburg released the following property transfers for January: Franklin R. Vent and wife to Monte G. Vent and wife – part of Outlot 41, Original Plat, Forest. Tax $76.80.

Hardin County Treasurer Denise Althauser is reminding all property owners that real estate tax payments are due Wednesday, Feb. 13. The last day to pay manufactured home (trailer) tax in Hardin County without penalty is Wednesday, Feb. 27.

The Hardin County Recorder’s Office reported the following transactions for January: Financing statements filed, 3; deeds filed, 131; mortgages filed, 4; amount of mortgages filed, $64,650,420.75; releases filed, 58; partial releases filed, 2; land contracts filed, 2; land contracts released, 4; power of attorneys filed, 5; other instruments filed, 22; federal tax liens released, 1; and military discharges filed, 1.

A Mount Blanchard woman was sentenced to a total of 69 months in prison for her part in the theft of property from a friend's grandmother in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's office, Brey Annea S.R. Wells, 17217 TR 194, Mount Blanchard, assisted Dakota Kleman in the theft of items from the home of Terri Fabo, Kleman’s grandmother, on April 25, 2018.

Bryan A. Clapper Jr., unknown address – speeding 30 mph in a 20 mph school zone, fined $150.

Fined $25 for speeding 68 mph in a 55 mph zone were: Ronald E. Pleasant, 13191 TR 184, Kenton; James Alan Greenshields, Wayne, Mich.; Kenneth B. Jones, Lakeview; Andrew D. Comstock, Arlington; and Vince R. Arnett, Dublin.

A Kenton man was sent to prison for six months after he pleaded guilty to one charge of theft from a person in a protected class in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's office, Michael Kevin Jones, 122 N. Market St., Kenton, was also fined $150 by Judge Scott Barrett.
