New neurologist joins HMH staff

Welcomed to HMH

Hardin Memorial Hospital recently held a meet and greet for their associates and medical staff to welcome new neurologist, Sumaiya Salim, MD. Dr. Salim will be seeing patients in the Hardin Memorial Hospital Specialty Center the third Wednesday of every month. Her areas of expertise include epilepsy/seizures, stroke, neuropathy and electroencephalography (EEG).

Members of Ohio Northern University's Orientation Student Leaders welcomed new students and their parents to the ONU campus Thursday. Students from various organizations in the university helped assist with moving items into dorms and directed traffic on a busy day on campus.

North Union spikes Lady Wildcats

On the attack

It was a rough start to the season for the Kenton volleyball team on Thursday night as North Union swept the Wildcats 25-15, 25-16, 25-10 in a non-league matchup. After falling behind 6-0 in game one, the Wildcats rallied to get within 7-4 before North Union regained control, taking leads of 18-10 and 21-13 before putting the game on its side of the scoreboard.

Despite hitting the post three times in the first half, the Kenton Wildcat boys soccer team carried a 2-0 lead into halftime at home against the Ada Bulldogs on Wednesday night. The Wildcats kept up the pressure into the second half and it eventually paid off, adding the third and fourth insurance goals to take the 4-0 victory, winning the 309 Cup and moving to 3-0 on the young season.
