Police reports: June 5, 2019 James Paul Holland, 416 E. Franklin St., reported an unknown person kicked in the rear door while he was sleeping inside. While mowing grass for the City of Kenton beside the river near Wharton Park, Tevin Allen Joseph Klausing found a gun. The KPD identified the stolen weapon and returned it to its owner. KCS summer lunch program adds 3 new feeding sites Cafeteria staff from Kenton City Schools has added three new feeding sites in an effort to reach more children this summer through the USDA Summer Food Service Program. The free summer lunch program, which will begin on Monday, June 10, is open to any children under age 18. Alger’s tornado siren works too well ALGER — When a recent tornado warning was issued for the village of Alger, the town's new storm siren worked well.
